Join one of the SFSS committees!
Learn more about the society by participating in the decision making process and pad your resume along the way. The committees range from advocating for students to finance and administration of the society so there is always one for you!
Advocacy Committee (2 positions)Deals with student issues from the washrooms on campus to tuition and student loans.
Commercial Services Committee (2 positions)Administrates the services the society provides ie) Copy Centre, Pub, The Ladle, Handbook etc...
Constitution and Policy Review Committee (2 positions)Reviews and changes any SFSS policy. This committee has practical applications to all levels of government. Great for students looking into law school!
Finance and Administrative Services Committee (2 positions)Handles granting money to DSUs and Clubs, also reviews the SFSS budget and makes recommendations to the board of directors regarding any finances.
Student Space Oversight Committee (2 positions)Tackles any student space issues on campus. All renovations to student space goes through this committee!
