On Wed., July 29th and Thursday, July 30th, the SFSS is holding Accessibility Dialogue sessions starting at 1:30 pm, at MBC 2290.
The SFSS is developing a campus accessibility review with the hopes of transforming all aspects of the Society to be more inclusive for all SFU students. Any feedback you may provide about your SFU experience and the SFSS campus accessibility will be very helpful to the project.
These dialogue sessions are designed to connect SFU students and staff in an open, safe and inclusive space. We will have a few questions to get the dialogue going, but the rest is up to you.
These dialogues give anyone with a disability or experience around a person with a disability (friend, family member, etc.) a chance to express their views regarding the challenges that surround them. The good and the bad can be expressed in a confidential space, with the goal of reducing negative experiences and difficulties, and enable us to increase accessibility and enjoyment of the SFU campus experience.
Please note: an honorarium and snacks will be provided to participants.
Accessibility accommodations are available through the SFSS General Office for any students in need of them.
Please email email@example.com with any questions or accessibility requests you might have and we will do our best to accommodate them.
