Hey all you advocates!
The Advocacy Committee is looking for your voice!
Tuition fees got you down? Student loans got you worried? Full
buses got you angry? Books got too expensive? Can't get a seat in that
class you want?
Want to do something about it?! Have a voice!
Join the Advocacy Committee!
If you would like to participate, help plan, or just spread the
word about any of the events, campaigns or activities that the Advocacy
Committee will put on this year please write us an email. I will
add you to a list and send you information with our meeting times and
the many ways that you can get involved.
This year the voices of the students will be heard. We need your
help! Please read our priorities of the upcoming year:
1. Promoting Anti-Discrimination/Pro-Diversity 2. Teaching Tenants Rights
3. Reducing Student Debt
4. Reducing Tuition Fees
5. Lobbying for Student Space and Building Community

Also since 2008, the Student Society has been a key member of the SFU Community
Coalition. Composed of groups from the SFU community, the Coalition seeks
to ensure public post-secondary education at SFU is accessible and
