We aim to raise the awareness of many lost/endangered aspects of Chinese traditional culture with an emphasis on clothing, also known as the Hanfu.
We are a group of Scottish Highland Dancers, ranging in abilities from beginner to semi-professional. We work to build strong team bonding and positive sportsmanship and humbleness. Highland dancing helps us to work on strength, motivation, stamina, balance, and other key aspects of physical fitness and body awareness.
The SFU Improv Club will give students — both inside and outside the fine arts program — an opportunity to perform and create. We want to create a non-judgemental place where students who are interested in comedy or performance have a chance to gather and meet and hone their abilities.

The SFU Manga Club, based in Surrey, provides an environment for artists and writers to collaborate and create Japanese comics, AKA manga, and other related forms. Club activities will involve exploring the culture behind manga and discussing ways to develop our own art and stories.
We are prepping students for model NATO conferences in Washington DC and Ottawa. Students will also prepare for the 2018 SFU – NATO Field School which will see students visit NATO HQ in Belgium, NATO Defense College in Italy, and Canadian troops in Latvia. This club will prepare you for a career in diplomacy and defence.
The reason behind this club is that there is a bounty of trails all over the lower mainland of varying terrain and ability to be ridden and maintained. This club can provide an environment where mountain biking enthusiasts can come together. Here riders can learn to repair and service their bike as well as better their skills in workshops.

SFU Overwatch Club is a relax and fun club that invites all the SFU and FIC students who enjoy playing games together. Everyone is welcome to join. The club allows all Overwatch ,Blizzard Games, and all other video game players the opportunity to make new gaming friends by communicating through Facebook page and in events.
My mandate for this club is to promote paintball around the university and provide a unique environment for obtaining leadership skills, outdoor experience and teamwork. We will be organizing events each week or biweekly at Ambush Paintball to get a hands on experience. Hosting paintball fundraisers to support local organizations.
To provide one-on-one nonjudgmental assistance to students over most of the first year courses offered at SFU. To create an atmosphere where students feel they are receiving help from trusted friends and fellow peers who are able to understand matters from their viewpoint.
Our club focuses on informing students interested in pursuing a future in dentistry on the application process; DAT, the pre-requisites, current entrance statistics, and various other qualities looked for in potential candidates, to inform as many students of as many possibilities open to them in the future.

SFU’s first Robot Soccer club aims to combine the excitement of soccer with the future of automated technology as we compete in RoboCupSoccer. Our team encourages students from all programs to come together and learn concepts that are not taught in class and get hands-on experience with robotics, artificial intelligence, and teamwork.
