We hope to provide education regarding the consequences of smoking cigarettes by presenting a more healthier option – such as vaporizers which has less toxins and chemicals compared to conventional cigarettes. We hope to encourage smokers to eventually desist from smoking cigarettes and find healthier alternatives.

Clothes for Consideration is a club that seeks to raise awareness amongst SFU students on clothing consumerism, in today’s world of fast fashion we want to foster more conscious creation, maintenance and use of clothing. A media based club, which aims at students interested in photography, designing and social media.

The purpose of Club for the Cure is to make a difference throughout the university population by raising awareness and fundraising for cancer research.

Dance Marathon – SFU

To engage students in leadership by raising money and awareness for BC Children’s Hospital, culminating in an annual campus event celebrating the total amount raised. SFU is the first Canadian university to participate in Dance Marathon, which has raised over $80 million for children’s hospitals at more than 250 schools since 1991.

Darkroom Club – SFU

To provide members of the club with an artistic outlet where they are free to experiment with conventional film photography.
