Student Ergonomists of British Columbia (SEBC)

A group of Kinesiology undergraduate students with an interest in ergonomics, and/or would like to learn more about the career possibilities within the field of ergonomics.

Student Marketing Association

The Student Marketing Association (SMA) is SFU’s creative and innovative marketing-based student club. Students from all faculties join together in this organization to gain skills in marketing, event coordination, and leadership, planning numerous social and professional events throughout the year.

To be a group in which individuals can express humor or comedy in any form they choose to.

Student Philanthropy Initiative

We started this organization to inspire other students from secondary and post-secondary institutes to get involved in helping our local and international communities in need, not only to provide aid, but to learn and teach others the meaning of philanthropy.

Student Trade Center

Student Trade Center is a non-profit organization, which provides our SFU student with job and volunteer opportunities and information in their field that helps them to prosper in future. We also help students choose their concentration and future job by different topic workshops.

Students For Humanity

This humanitarian organization welcomes anyone and everyone. We will spread positive energy, help those in need, and we will not discriminate while dong so. We will provide aid, relief, assistance, promote health and well-being, and address health-related issues. One person can care for a few people, but together, we can heal humanity.

Students For Liberty – SFU

A non-partisan student organization that promotes discussion of current events and political philosophy with an emphasis on personal, academic, and economic freedom. It also provides opportunities to explore these ideas off-campus at conferences and seminars across North America.

Students of Caribbean & African Ancestry (SOCA)

SOCA works to highlight and celebrate the diversity and culture of the Caribbean and promote and spread various aspects of our culture to everyone affiliated with SFU. Celebrating Oneness through diversity as we are out of many, One People.

Students Offering Support

SOS operates by raising money to raise roofs by raising marks during our Exam-Aid group review sessions, which are taught and run by student volunteers. Each year—via annual outreach trips, 100% of all the money raised from our $20-per-session donation fee goes towards creating sustainable education projects in developing nations around the world

Surrey Badminton Club – SFU – Surrey

Promote the sport of Badminton to all students at SFU, especially at the Surrey Campus. This club is for any skill level/gender and will enforce a safe-zone to all participants.

Surrey Basketball Club – SFU – Surrey

The SFU Surrey Basketball Club (SBC) will distinguish itself from other basketball leagues/clubs due to the fact that it is completely casual and accepting of anyone. The club is for any skill level/gender. It will implement a no-judgement zone. Club members will meet in SFU Surrey to decide where to play (In Surrey).

Table Tennis @ SFU Surrey – Surrey

We seek to facilitate student engagement and interdisciplinary interaction, as well as improve each individual’s physical health, through the shared recreational activity of Table Tennis (Ping Pong).

Taiwanese Association – SFU

We are the bridge between Canada and Taiwan. We promoting Taiwanese culture on our campus and the greater Vancouver area.

Team Phantom: SFU Formula SAE Electric

The goal of this club is to compete in the Formula SAE Electric Competition. The club will do this by designing and creating a fully electric vehicle using engineering principles.

Technology Entrepreneurs(Tech-E)

This club is for students who are interested Tech Entrepreneurship. The objective of the club is to bring together Engineering students with students from other faculties.

Technovus

Technovus is family of hardworking, pizza eating, solder infused dorks. We teach robotics workshops for all levels, host and compete in hackathons, hangout, and work on challenging projects. We learn from each other, share tools, make fun of each other, and grow together. Robotics, Inappropriate Jokes, Random Shenanigans, and Heart. That’s us.

The Go Club

To bring people together with the game of Go! Go is a strategy board game played by two people. The winner is decided by the amount of territory. Traditionally Go has been played in China, Japan, and Korea.

The Personal Training Club (PTC)

Promoting personal training for anyone interested in improving their knowledge of health and fitness. Providing background information about personal training topics such as nutrition, exercise and prospective careers in the field. In addition to providing events informing members on personal training certifications.
