Basic Income SFU advocates for basic income policy as a way to reduce poverty. We research projects that have taken place around the world, work with teams in Metro Vancouver to develop guidelines for a national policy, and educate students about basic income using a variety of interactive events and activities.
The Benevolent Association (BA) aims to assist various causes or organizations that do not gain enough recognition locally and internationally. We help bring together diverse group of individuals from different faculties to serve others while giving students the opportunity to expand their skills in order to become successful leaders.
To spread and promote health and well being as well as provide students with an avenue to connect with their artistic side as well as getting a great cardiovascular workout through the wonderful dance of Bhangra. Great for people of all cultures, backgrounds and dance levels.
The goal of this club is to teach people about 3D design, including animation, modeling, design, and production, and then work together to create films in a fun environment for film festivals using the Blender program.

To support RainCity Housing’s community initiatives through the annual implementation of the Business Speaking Competition — an improvised speaking competition where competitors sell a product they’ve never seen or heard about before.
A space created to discuss and share thoughts about various teachings of God and learn about engaging in the prevalent discourses of society. CABS seeks to provide a forum for students of all races, colours, classes, nationalities and religions to discuss the urgent issues facing society today.
SFU CCS holds independent events throughout the school year to recruit more volunteers and fundraise on behalf of the CCS. We want to raise awareness/recruit SFU students by tabling in AQ and clubs days. We also plan on collaborating with other clubs on campus and residence to engage our student population.
The SFU CLF Club’s goal is to raise awareness about the rising impact of liver disease and to fundraise for research programs. We are focused on finding proactive ways to help reduce the impact of liver disease. We hope to educate and motivate young adults to take on this issue more passionately.
The mandate CSSDP-SFU, is to promote sensible thinking when it comes to the difficult topic of drug use and drug policy. CSSDP -SFU works to help students understand the drug war as well as provide harm reduction.

CaseIT is group of likeminded individuals who host an annual international business case competition with a strong Management Information Systems (MIS) focus where students from various backgrounds of IT and business can showcase their skills in areas such as teamwork, problem solving, and critical thinking to a panel of industry professionals.
