DIY Dungeon Master: A Tabletop Gaming Workshop for Women & LGBATQ+ Adventurers!
Tabletop roleplaying games have always been a great way to take a vacation from reality and make real social connections – but they’ve also always had a reputation as being intimidatingly complicated. Whether you’ve never rolled a 20-sided die, you’ve played but never DMed (Dungeon Mastered), or are a seasoned dungeoneer who just wants to meet others like you who game, join us for DIY Dungeon Master: a tabletop gaming workshop for women & LGBATQ+ folks at the Women’s Centre!
We’ll be going over the basics of tabletop RPGs in general, D&D 5th Edition specifically, and offering tips on starting and running your own tabletop campaign.
This event will be very similar to our June 28th event. If you don’t plan to attend this event but want to receive updates about a potential D&D/RPG group meeting in the Women’s Centre space, contact RJ at firstname.lastname@example.org!
This workshop will take place in the SFSS Women’s Centre’s all-genders resource area (TC3014), but is specifically for women and LGBATQ+ people. TC3014 is wheelchair-accessible, and is located close to an elevator and two accessible, gender-neutral washrooms. If you have any accessibility needs we can accomodate, pleae email the Coordinator at email@example.com.
Snacks will be served!
This event takes place on the unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples, including (based on our current knowledge) the Musqueam, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Stó:lo and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
