DIY Dungeon Master Workshop

June 28, 2017 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

DIY Dungeon Master: A Tabletop Gaming Workshop for Women & LGBATQ+ Adventurers!

Tabletop roleplaying games have always been a great way to take a vacation from reality and make real social connections – but they’ve also always had a reputation as being intimidatingly complicated and overwhelmingly enjoyed by straight white men. Whether you’ve never rolled a 20-sided die, you’ve played but never DMed (Dungeon Mastered), or are a seasoned dungeoneer who just wants to meet others like you who game, join us for DIY Dungeon Master: a tabletop gaming workshop for women & LGBATQ+ folks at the Women’s Centre!

We’ll be going over the basics of tabletop RPGs in general, D&D 5th Edition specifically, and offering tips on starting and running your own tabletop campaign.

This workshop will take place in the SFSS Women’s Centre’s all-genders resource area (TC3014), but is specifically for women and LGBATQ+ people.

Snacks will be served!

This event takes place on the unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples, including (based on our current knowledge) the Musqueam, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Stó:lo and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
