The Internal Relations officer responsible for all staffing-related issues at the SFSS, sort of like a human resources manager. The IRO works with the union's shop steward to resolve day to day issues related to the Collective Agreement between the SFSS and CUPE 3338. The IRO is usually involved in most of the hiring committees struck by the SFSS.
