We are also a volunteer-driven organization. Our volunteer program is tailored to suit your interests. Pursue your passion, make connections and get recognized doing it!

Accessibility Information
Wheelchair Accessibility
The Out on Campus lounge is wheelchair accessible. We have two doors leading into the space: the first door swings open towards the outside via sensor and the second should be open. Our external door is 36″ wide. Our internal door is 33″ wide.
Gender Neutral & Wheelchair Accessible Washrooms
There are washrooms in the vicinity that are both wheelchair accessible and gender neutral.
ASL & FM Tuners
Do you need ASL? ASL interpretation has been booked for this event, but we still need you to let us know if you can make it. Please register & let us know that you need ASL and/or an FM tuner! We need to know by Thurs, Sep 15.  
**If no requests have been received by Thurs, Sep 15, ASL will be cancelled.
No Peanuts or Tree Nuts (including Coconuts)
This event is a peanut & tree nut (including coconut) free space. Please do not bring these items to this event to ensure that the space remains as accessible as possible.
Scent Free Space
This event is a scent free space. Please refrain from using scented products such as shampoo, laundry soap, dryer sheets, perfume, cologne, lotion, etc prior to this event. Here are some good resources: Think Before You Stink & Fragrance Free Femme of Color Realness.
Our lounge offers a variety of seating: arm chairs, couches, wheeled office chairs with arms, and armless chairs. This event usually occurs on the couches.
We have overhead fluorescent lights installed in our space. We also have two non-fluorescent lamps that we can also turn on. Our lighting depends on the needs of folks using the space.
Electromagnetic Fields
Our lounge has wifi, and we are within range of the SFU Wifi Networkers. Folks often bring their laptops into the space to work. There are also three desktop computers in our space that folks sometimes utilize as well. We also have a microwave and fridge in our lounge.
Our events, space, library and services are accessible for free.
Food will not be provided for this event.
