The treasurer's job is to manage the budget and financial affairs of the society. Creating the annual budget for the SFSS is a planning exercise that requires detailed knowledge of the operation of the society's different departments. The treasurer is also responsible for day to day money-related tasks like reviewing and signing stipend cheques and evaluating grant requests from clubs and DSUs.
