Her Story brings together remarkable women from diverse backgrounds for a night of storytelling. Our event, inspired by the famous Ted Talk series, will serve to break the stigma and barriers around the capabilities of women and what they can or can’t do and will showcase the strength and resilience that women, no matter what background they may come, can offer. We seek to empower college women with stories worth spreading in hopes of sharing their own stories one day.
The conference will feature 5 speakers who will each have 10 minutes to present and tell their story. These 5 speakers will each represent a culture point (career, health, culture, life, style) touching on aspects that will hopefully relate and inspire college women. The presentations will then be followed with a 15 minute open Q&A session where the audience can interact with the speakers. Get inspired and feel empowered by these women to share your own story!
