After considering all possible options, the board of directors has decided that the best course of action for filling the vacant board positions is a by-election. As per by-law 16:

1. Subject to By-Law 16(3), by-elections may be called by the Board to fill vacant positions on the Board, except that the Board shall only call a by-election once per year and only in the fall semester.

The notice and process of by-elections is strictly up to the discretion of the Independent Electoral Commision, and we anticipate notice of elections will be given late September.
