The first Canadian Collegiate Esports League (CCEL) is a league that is looking to provide a competitive video gaming league in partnership with Canada’s most forward-thinking universities and colleges. The CCEL aims to nationalize esports adoption among Canadian universities by creating a unified body to organize, manage, and lead collegiate esports.

The CCEL is launching with a Rocket League tournament on May 29th. It is open to all SFU Students, Staff and Faculty to participate and represent SFU in a Canada wide league. It is free for anyone to participate in and winners can receive up to $1000 in prizes!

Registration for CCEL will begin in May. More information can be found at http://canadiancollegiateesportsleague.ca/. Registration will take place on https://gyoca.gg/
