N95-Equivalent Masks, Clear Windowed Masks, and Ear Savers Available at the DNA Resource Centre
April 13, 2022
The SFU Disability and Neurodiversity Alliance is offering free N95 masks to any SFU or FIC undergrads who identify as disabled, autistic, neurodivergent, Deaf, mad and/or as having a disability, chronic illness, long-term condition, or mental illness. To pick up a mask, visit Room 1300 at the SFU Student Union Building between 10am-5pm on Monday to Friday. We are also arranging to mail masks to those who cannot pick them up in person.
We have many different types of masks, including: masks with ear loops, masks with head straps, masks of various sizes, and masks with a clear window for lip reading. We also have ear savers that reduce the pain and pressure of longtime mask-wearing.
If you have questions or would like more information, you can reach the SFU Student Society’s Accessibility Department by:
– Emailing accessibility@sfss.ca and accessibility.asst@sfss.ca
