Apology Letter from the 2024 SFSS President
April 23, 2024
Dear students,
I hope this message finds you well. As the President of the Simon Fraser Student Society (SFSS), I owe you all an apology. Recently, in my efforts to address certain issues, I failed to adhere to our student union bylaws. Specifically, I did not follow the proper procedures when attempting to remove our issues policies. I want to sincerely apologize for this oversight. It was not my intention to bypass our established processes, and I understand the importance of upholding our bylaws to ensure transparency and fairness within our student society.
While I still believe that the issues policies are not serving our student body as effectively as they could, I acknowledge that my actions during my course to remove them were not in line with the values of our organization. I value your trust and support. Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,
Liam Feng
President, Simon Fraser Student Society
