Ensuring the diverse views of
our students are represented

Students at Simon Fraser University elect sixteen members to the Board of Directors each year during the spring semester. The Board of Directors is the highest governing authority, and has the responsibility to set the strategic direction of the Student Society. Each Director has the responsibility to make decisions in the best interests of all SFU students, and also will take lead on many school-wide projects and events.

To read more about the duties and obligations of the Board of Directors, refer to the SFSS Bylaws and Board Policies.
