- Is responsible for all monies received and disbursed by or on behalf of the Society
- Manages the Board budgets
- Coordinates the preparation of the annual budget, the annual audit, the commercial and legal affairs of the Society
- Works closely with the Finance and Audit Committee
- Fulfills administration responsibilities (e.g. payroll approval, bi-weekly reports, semester reports)
- Prepares a report on the Society’s financial affairs for the Annual General Meeting
- Is a signing officer
