Lgbtq+ Speed Friending 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm ![]() ![]() - How Does it Work? - Imagine speed dating, but without all the awkward chat-up lines! Now, imagine - if you dare - Omegle, but without all the unsolicited genitals! "Good God how do I sign up?!" I hear you ask, well here's how it all works: 1. Sign up with an email address you monitor regularly. Registration is essential so we can plan around numbers! 2. You'll an email from us to direct you towards our Discord server where we will be hosting the event. It's better to do this early rather than rush just before the event starts! 3. You'll also be asked to provide some information, such as a picture of you, some hobbies you enjoy, your answers to a selection of silly questions, and where people can connect more with you (e.g., Facebook). We'll collate all of this into a neat booklet with all the attendees' information available only on our Discord server. This is totally optional, and you may decide to DM people on Discord instead, which is also totally cool! 4. It's conversation time! Depending on the number of attendees, you'll have 2-5 minutes to quickly get to know your partner before time runs out. Once time runs out, you'll be moved to different rooms to start a conversation with a new partner! 5. By the end of the event, you will have spoken to everybody and will have a great foundation for more socialising with the people you got along well with! 6. Profit??? Registration essential and places are limited! Please contact ooc@sfss.ca for any inquiries. | 25 | 26 | 27 | ||||||||||||||||||
