The SFSS has represented SFU students for over 40 years as a registered not-for-profit organization. They have a goal of uniting student voices, lobbying the University and Governments on student issues, and providing valuable services to all members.

SFU Women’s Centre

The Women’s Centre is a 24/7 safe space for self-identified women only. It is pro-feminist, pro-choice, trans-inclusive, and sex positive. It is located in the Rotunda near Out on Campus, and has a lounge, kitchen, and library. It also offers peer support for all genders.

CJSF 90.1 FM

Broadcasting commercial-free independent radio to most places in the Lower Mainland and worldwide online.

TSSU

Teaching Support Staff Union at SFU, a strong ally representing many workers on campus. Their Social Justice Committee develops campaigns, endorses projects/causes, and supports small groups that challenge the root causes of poverty, inequality and injustice.

Graduate Student Society

The GSS is the student society and government for all graduate students at Simon Fraser University.  They promote the academic, social, and professional interests of graduate students at SFU. A key part of what the GSS does is provide services to its members.

SFP!RG is an organization of students and activists that are dedicated to positive environmental and social change. Their lounge and office spans the south side of the Rotunda, where they plan and hold fantastic workshops about everything from bicycle repair to consensus decision making.

Qmunity, formerly the Centre, is a community resource providing support, health and social services, and public education for the well-being of lesbians, gay men, transgendered and bisexual people and their allies in Vancouver and throughout BC.

Pride UBC

Pride UBC is UBC’s resource centre for LGBT people and allies. It is located in the UBC Student Union Building in the Resource Group suite on the second floor, room 245C.

Safe 2 Pee

A community-based gender-neutral washroom resource. Punch in an address, and discover many public, gender-neutral washrooms. Indicates whether it is gender-neutral or locking single-stall gendered, whether the washroom is accessible, and whether users must make a purchase to use the washroom. Know a washroom on their list?
