The current stipend for board members is around $14.50/hour, a rate set in 2008. This outdated amount is now just below the minimum wage set in 2020 ($14.60/hour). That is why the SFSS Council Remuneration Proposal asks for a stipend in-line with a living wage for Student Executives representing your needs and advocating for your rights.
