As part of the coordinated efforts to help bring relief to individuals and communities affected by ongoing floods in the province, Simon Fraser Student Society in partnership with Simon Fraser University, Chartwells, Nesters, Graduate Student Society, SFU Childcare, Highlands Elementary School, Point Church and UniverCity Community Association are organizing a TOY DRIVE starting Monday, November 29.
The Toy Drive is specifically geared towards the younger residents of flood-affected areas aimed at ensuring that their Christmas is still bright this year and they have something to smile about. We ask all staff, students and the entire University community to donate new, unopened, packaged, and/or tagged toys and gifts suitable for kids up to 18 years old (please remember the pre-teens and teens as they often get forgotten!). We also highly encourage the donations of gender-neutral toys.
