Library FAQ

All students, staff, and faculty of SFU, as well as community members, are eligible to check out our resources. All genders are welcome to access our library and check out resources.

The Women’s Centre offers a variety of resources including books, movies, magazines, zines and journals for feminist research, emotional support, and personal development. Whether you’re looking for scholarly resources for a class project, a children’s picture book featuring positive representation, or fiction for stress-relief reading, we can help!

Books can be checked out for three weeks. Magazines, zines and journals can be checked out for two weeks, and DVDs for one week. All resources can be renewed online at the catalogue or by contacting the resource assistant.

You can return materials 24/7 using the book return drop slot located beside the TC3014 door, located across from SFPIRG and the ACHSA. If we are open, you are welcome to come on in and drop the books off in the wooden bin near the Resource Assistant’s desk. Thank you!
