Description: The Trans and Gender Diversity Project Worker is tasked to create a guide for trans and gender diverse students to aid them in accessing the university and updating their records (such as how to change their name and gender markers). The position will also oversee the implementation of other trans friendly programming through Out on Campus.
This is a temporary part time position scheduled at up to 12 hours per week. This temporary position will end on April 30th, 2016, but may be extended. This is a unionized position with membership in Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 3338-5 at a wage rate of $14.87 per hour with additional benefits as defined in the Collective Agreement.

Goal: To create a Trans and Gender Diversity guide aimed at assisting trans and gender diverse students with their post-secondary experience.
Working Relationship(s)/Role in Organizational Structure: The Trans and Gender Diversity Project Worker takes direction from and reports to the Out on Campus Volunteer and Program Coordinator. In the event of an absence of the Out on Campus Volunteer and Program Coordinator the Project Worker will report to the Executive Director.
