Get Your Voice Heard: Student Consultation Regarding Face Covering or Masks
March 14, 2022
Sudden changes have emerged within BC following the PHO’s recent announcement regarding lower restrictions and the SFSS Executive Committee wants to know how you feel about it!
As of last week, PHO guidelines regarding face coverings or masks indicate that “Individual businesses [including the SFSS] … can choose to continue requiring masks on their premises”. With a decision like this, the Executive committee has heard from students and understands that further consultations regarding this decision are needed. Moreover, we have released a consultative survey to the wider student body in order to better inform regulations within the Student Union Building amidst the pandemic while simultaneously better understanding the experiences of immunocompromised and/or disabled students
The purpose of this survey is to help guide and inform the SFSS Executive and Council in decision-making in terms of student safety amidst the pandemic and to inform our advocacy initiatives in relation to SFU.
